Apparatus of magnetic field measuring device with long wires and power supply. The purpose of this lab is to measure the magnetic field while adding loops of wire around that plastic tube.
Data recorded with the experiment. Chart on the left is collected by my group and the on the right is presented by the professor. The deference between the two is that the professor drilled a hole in the middle of the tube and placed the magnetic field sensor meter in that hole to get an accurate result.
The chart presented by the professor magnetic field vs time.
Set up and conclusion with the galvanometer magnet and coils. The question asked was "how to make the galvanometer read higher"
This experiment used two coils an Alternating current (A/C power) and a Christmas light. What is going on in this picture is that the red object seen controlling how much power is going through. By using it switches up and down. When Professor Mason lowers the coil with Christmas light will emit light. This technology is similar to a Phone charger. Where current is sent through in opposite directions making power travel

Applying the Boit-Staurt law on a infinite horizontal path with point "bob" hovering above the line. Problem is then reduced down to a finite path. Four finite lines forming a square with point "bob" placed at the center of the shape.

Magnetic motor apparatus setup. The direction of its spin, clockwise or counterclockwise depends on the whether its N-S or S-N polar respectively pointing at the end of the motor. The motor will not spin if its pointing on the same polar. Also the speed of the spin varies with the voltage applied, higher the voltage the faster it can spin.
Simpler version of magnetic motor setup. A wire coated with insulating paint was wrapped around a marker to make a simple coil as a motor. Similar to the bigger apparatus, the higher the voltage is the faster the motor will spin the only obvious difference is the use of one magnet instead of two. This setup was a little difficult since it took us many trials to get the setup working properly.
Rod-compass demonstration. Current was run to the rod creating a magnetic field. By having the magnetic field around the rod it interfered with the earth's magnetic force so the compasses turned its needle in the direction of the field. If the compasses are placed further away from the this point shown in the picture, there is less magnetic force around the compasses causing less interference. On the other hand, if its placed closer to the rod it will have more magnetic force around the compasses causing greater interference.

Magnetic field around a bar magnet in a physical sense using iron filings to show the field itself.
Our redition of the field around the magnet bar. The arrow refers to where the compass is pointing north if placed in that specific spot around the magnet.
Prediction of what a magnetic field looks likes.
This is the apparatus of copper pipe that began to role away from a magnet. Depending of the way the current is going through will either attract or push away. The following data will show the magnetic field. The unique part of the would be calculating the force which has to calculate the transnational and rotational part for the force.

Apparatus for the audio amplifier.
In the picture showed above there is a sign wave going the middle which is from the power supply. Then the back shows the slamming of the sign wave going flat and then amplify the signal
After many trials, the amplifier was hooked up to a speaker and an auxiliary cable with a phone to play music. Tested and it worked.

Oscilloscope setup. A function generator is used to make sine wave.
Sine wave
Square wave
Wave with a lot of interference
Device that was called a mystery box for the "mystery box experiment".
The prdiction that we have to tell what kind of wave can be produce with different sets of combination.
